What is a pleasure drop?
The clear, mucous secretion that comes out of the base of the penis during the arousal phase – even before the actual ejaculation (ejaculate) occurs – is called the pleasure drop. It is produced by the small Cowper’s glands and its main task is to moisten the urethra and act as a natural lubricating film.
Why “pleasure drops” are so exciting
- Pure anticipation: The first drop signals that “action” is about to begin – a small, wet foretaste.
- Sensory play: The almost tasteless and odorless film invites you to lick or gently spread it on your skin and mucous membranes.
- Versatile use: Whether as an additional lubricant during anal intercourse, as an introduction to oral play or as a little treat during petting – pleasure drops are real all-rounders.
