What is gagging?
“Gagging” has two meanings in the scene:
- triggering/playing with the gag reflex during (deep) oral sex, often with audible gagging/tears as an aesthetic part of the scene;
- wearing a mouth gag (ball gag, ring gag, bit gag, etc.) to muffle speech, encourage salivation and emphasize the power imbalance. In both cases: only consensual, well prepared and safe.
Why appealing?
- Power exchange & helplessness look: facial expressions, drooling, muffled sounds reinforce the feeling of control/devotion.
- Sensory system: Pressure in the mouth/throat, breathing focus and saliva generate strong, sometimes trance-like stimuli.
- Aesthetics/fetish: The “gag look” (strap, ball, ring) or audible gagging is staged as an explicit kink.
